Friday, January 28th:

Nature Specialist Participants will explore how animals adapt for the cold of winter in this Winter in the Wilderness program! This hands-on, fun filled program will teach participants about how various animals use hibernation, migration & other adaptations to survive the cold of winter. Participants will also have the opportunity to see and touch some live animal species!

Wednesday, February 2nd:

Health/Wellness/Nutrition Specialist Participants will have a unique opportunity to experience the launch of Generation Pound. Generation Pound is a youth-oriented program that fuses movement and music to improve physical fitness, focus, communication, teamwork, coordination and more! Participants will have the chance to use Ripstix, lightly weighted exercise drumsticks, to learn alternative ways to explore movement, embrace their creativity, build strength, confidence, self-awareness and rock out with fitness! Thursday, February 3rd:

Tarboro Street Raleigh, NC 27610 919-831-6505 Participants will have a blast with fun glow-in-the-dark activities and games at one of Raleigh’s Community Center facilities! Don’t forget to dress in lighter-colored clothing for more fun glow-in-the-dark effects!
