Project Objective: To develop advocacy and campaign strategy for public advocacy on improved food fortification and nutrition legislation Framing the Issue: Food and nutrition is a major issue in Pakistan 1. 58% of households in Pakistan are food insecure and 30% are experience hunger 2. There is lack of legislation, public policies, and implementation on food fortification and nutrition 3. Hunger is correlated to poverty, children from households in the lowest income quintile were twice as likely to be underweight than children from the highest income quintile.
