Fatoosh Jasem Jarrar
5th grade
2 cucumbers 2 tomatoes
1 lettuce Slice of onion
2 tsp salt Lemon to taste 1 cup olive oil Pita bread 1
Chop the ingredients into small pieces Cut the pita bread and fry in olive oil
Don’t fry the bread too crisp Place the bread on a napkin and let cool
Mix olive oil, salt and lemon in a bowl Stir into the vegetables.

5th grade Skewer
Cut up apple 10 grapes
12 strawberries 10 blackberries
You can alternate sliding the apples, grapes, strawberries and
blackberries on the stick.

Flour or corn tortillas Butter (softened)
As much cinnamon and sugar as you want
Take a flour or corn tortilla and spread butter on it. Sprinkle the cinnamon and sugar on it. Bake in the oven a little.

1 pear 1 banana Grapes 1 peach
2 tbsp of sugar 2 cups of sour cream
Peel the pear and peach and dice. Put in a bowl and add grapes.
Peel the banana and dice, add to the bowl. Add to the bowl 2 cups of sour cream and 2 tbsp of sugar. Mix together and enjoy.

Grilled Shish Kabobs Carson Guthrie
4th grade
1 steak 1 can pineapples
2 bell peppers 2 skewers
Grill
Gather ingredients. Soak skewers in water. Grill Steak for 3 minutes on each side. Chunk the seeded bell peppers. Open and drain the
Pineapples. Take a skewer out of water, alternate steak, pineapples and bell peppers on skewers in any order you would like. Put the
completed skewer back on the grill for 1 minute total (occasionally rotating). But most importantly you must enjoy your wonderful
creation.
Strawberry Surprise Evan Simons
4th grade
20 sliced strawberries 3 large ice cubes
1 strawberry yogurt 1 cup of orange juice
Combine above ingredients in a blender and blend.
Fill in tiny plastic cups on a tray.

Fruittastic blueberry Smoothie Lindsay Coleman
5th grade
1 carton of blueberry yogurt 1 cup of milk
1 cup of frozen blueberries ½ cup of ice cubes
Put all in a blender until not chunky anymore. (smooth)
Enjoy!

Cooked Eggs Dijon Hopkins
5th grade
2 eggs Black pepper
butter
Crack open the eggs. Put in a bowl add pepper to taste, blend. Melt butter in pan add the eggs and cook.
Fruit Kabob Blast Brie Ann Carpenter
4th grade
1 Apple 1 Orange
Green Grapes Jar of maraschino cherries
Peanut Butter Kabob Stick
Slice the apple and orange. Alternate the apple, orange, grapes on
the stick then add the cherry last. A bowl of peanut butter goes well to dip your fruit in.

Fruity Ice Pops Nathan Reed
5th grade
2 cups reduced fat strawberry yogurt 1 can unsweeten crushed pineapple (8 oz)
1 tbsp honey 2-3 drops of red food coloring (if desired)
In a food processor or blender, combine yogurt, pineapple, honey
and food coloring. Process until smooth. Pour into plastic pop molds or 3 oz cups, top with holders or insert
wooden sticks. Freeze until firm. 61 calories
Strawberry Yogurt Crunch Kenzie Alkinburgh
4th grade
1 cup whole strawberries may sub. Bananas 4 tbsp fresh orange juice
2/3 cup whole oats 3 tbsp sunflower seeds 3 tbsp pumpkin seeds
2-3 tbsp clear runny honey 12 tsp thick plain yogurt
Slice strawberries, add o.j. and set aside in a bowl.
Toast oats in fry pan 3 min. med. Heat. Add all seeds to pan and toast for 2 min.
Remove from heat, add honey (may sizzle) allow to cool slightly Put a layer of oats in each cup
Add 2 spoonfuls of yogurt, top with fruit Add another layer of each.
