To administrate Internet numbering resources, contributing to the creation of collaboration and cooperation opportunities that will benefit the regional Internet community, committed to:
the excellence and quality of services provided to our clients,constantly perfecting an impartial, participative and transparent self-

within the industry,strengthening the relationships with the main stakeholders of the Internet
within the region,the development of regional capabilities through training and the

LACNIC and eLAC-2007
eLAC-2007 is a set of measurable objectives related with the development of the Information Society in LAC region.
It was the result of the Regional Conference of Governments, in 2005 (Río de Janeiro). eLAC-2007 includes 70 goals.
eLAC-2007 process is runs by the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC)
LACNIC has activities that directly contribute with the achievement of 25 of the eLAC-2007 objectives.
As a result LACNIC is an active actor in the development of the Information Society in our region.
LACNIC usually participates in every eLAC2007 activities, working groups, etc. Specially in those working groups related to the technical stability of Internet
We promote strongly in any fora the multi stakeholder model of the Internet Governance.
