Testimonials

As a lay leader/preacher, I led a service focused on God's plan for us as workers (made in His image), and we included some Labor Day Sunday materials that worked well, including a couple of ideas from the sermon outlines, one of the songs, and one of the prayers. Perhaps most important was the encouragement to create a Labor Day Sunday service - a small step toward integration of work into our Christian community.

Testimonials

Blessings of the backpacks, briefcases, and diaper bags. Pastor invited groups up, one at a time, for prayer and a laying on of hands. I liked it very much.

Everything went very well. People were motivated.

Testimonials

It has been and should continue to be a common practice to consecrate people for mission work, including consecration for the workplace. I'm glad to see this. Makes me very happy.

Testimonials

This was so helpful. I am glad it was not about "cornering people at the water cooler" and more about seeing your work as worship. The concept that people spend most of their time at work so we must address the workplace reality if the church is going to be relevant is SO important. I believe our adult Sunday School class is going to be full for this topic. Nice on BCP. (I'm Episcopalian!)
