What is Globalisation?

• It describes the way in which places and people are becoming ever more closely linked.

• This is good as wealth is spreading and cultures are mixing more (benefit of different foods, music, etc.)

• This is bad as it means people can be exploited, the environment is being ignored and migration is not good for everyone.

• The process by which people, their cultures, money, goods and information can be transferred between countries with relatively few or no barriers.

• OR

• The connections between people and environments across the world.
