Why I Drew What I Drew

I drew these pictures because I thought they were the most interesting and entertaining parts of the story. I think this is a funny and witty legend, but I don’t like that it ends the way it does. The Twins do eventually come back to life, and become the sun and the moon. This is an inspirational legend to the Mayan people giving them hope that they too will be able to escape death.
