Jo & Jono continue to live and work in Inverness. Jo has been working as a Physio at

Raigmore Hospital for the past year. She's worked

on medical, stroke and othopaedic wards. Jono

still works with the same building contractor. This

year he has also started working with a carpenter

making high quality hand built furniture. They

are in the process of buying land to build their

own house.

Emma completed her probation year in June.

She really enjoyed her Primary 1 class and was

sad to say goodbye. She secured a teaching post

in an International Christian school in Malang,

Indonesia. Emma left in July and has settled in

well, living in a room in King's Kids. She teaches

a Grade 4 class and is involved with the mission

agency Pioneers. Emma is enjoying being able to

spend quality time with Yonas. Let us know if you

would like to receive her newsletter.

Laura & Josh have had an exciting year. Laura graduated as an Occupational Therapist and

successfully gained a full time post at Wishaw

General Hospital. They bought a new 2

bedroomed flat in Motherwell and are enjoying

making it their home. Josh is working with Miller

Homes in Edinburgh as part of his graduate post.

Laura ran the Loch Ness marathon in October in

an impressive 4hrs 25mins.

Hollie is now in the 2nd year of her B.Ed at Strathclyde Uni. Hollie is really enjoying the

course especially the placements in schools. She

has made some good friends and seems to be

coping well on being an 'only child' in the house!

During the summer Hollie returned to Chiana in

Ghana and met up with the many friends she

made the previous year on her gap year. During

the 3 months Hollie helped the church school

write a curriculum for the year.

We had a lovely week's holiday in Wigtown in July

staying at our friends home while they were

away. We also looked after their black lab Bonnie

Belle whch was good fun. Emma joined us for a

couple of days and we went to Belfast for the day.

We had a glorious day and really enjoyed visiting

'The Giant's Causeway'.
