I N A U G U R A L KYLE SIMCOE GOLF SCRAMBLE As you may know, on May 10, 2009, we tragically lost our dear friend Kyle Simcoe, who was taken from us much too soon, at the age of 23. Kyle was the type of individual who crosses your path once in a lifetime. ere was never a more genuine friend, brother or son than Kyle. He held such a positive spark and passion for life that has moved us all and will be with us always. e love he gave his family, friends and brothers will be remembered forever. He dedicated 110 percent to anything he was involved in, whether it was serving as Captain on the soccer field for Memorial High School, holding the position of Venerable Dean of Acacia Fraternity, or starting a professional career at Texas Instruments. Kyle Simcoe was devoted to living life the right way, and he lead by example. After everything Kyle gave us in his short lifetime, his family and friends are now trying to give back a little in his memory. To celebrate and honor Kyle’s life, we are holding the inaugural Kyle Simcoe Memorial Golf Scramble. It is a chance to get together with family and friends and give back to a good cause, with proceeds benefiting the Acacia Scholarship Fund at Indiana University and the Memorial High School Soccer Fund. e Acacia Scholarship Fund will benefit a hard-working leader of the Fraternity who holds the positive values in which Kyle believed. e Memorial High School Soccer Fund will benefit members of the Memorial soccer team. ese are two organizations Kyle cared deeply about. Anyone and everyone is invited to participate in this golf scramble event; golfers of all skill levels are welcome! You do not need to be a golfer to contribute, because we will need volunteers, sponsors, donations and support to make this event a success. ank you in advance for your support and participation!
