Benefits do not apply for spouses and/or co-holders. The 1,500 points will be added to the point package of the referrer and the same terms and conditions apply. Kívac® and Kívac® Xpand Policies
Changes on reservation confirmationIn case you become aware of a mistake on your reservation confirmation, you shall report it within the following 24 hours. Otherwise, it is understood that you are fully satisfied and agree with the provided information.
Reservation cancellationsThe change and cancellation policies shall be checked upon reservation and they are subject to the conditions of each hotel. In case the cancellation is made under the established time frame required by the hotel, the total amount of the booked points and the reservation fee will be fully refunded (in case it applied).Changes and cancellations do not apply for hotels outside Mexico, there will be no reimbursement of points or reservation fees.Changes and cancellations do not apply in plane ticket purchase, transport, or activities.Check that the information in the reservation confirmation is right, otherwise, please let us know.In case you make hotel and/or date changes, the total points required may change based on the current rate published on the www.kivac.com.mx website. In case changes or cancellations are made with less anticipation than the established one, there will be no point or cash reimbursements. In case there is a no-show on the date of the first booked night, this will be considered No Show (no points or reservation fee reimbursements) and the hotel will be free to give the rooms to other guests.
Policy for point use:All rates are subject to change without prior notice and will be updated on the www.kivac.com.mx website. The minimum age for ADULTS ONLY hotels is 18 years old. Remember that it is important to have the full names and ages of all travelers at the time of your reservation. All rates are subject to availability. Weekend nights at Fiesta Americana, Fiesta Inn, Gamma, and One will be on Friday and Saturday. When rates are dynamic, you cannot pay for your food and beverage plan in points.
Policy for purchasing food with Kívac® PointsThe price shown in points includes taxes and service, check open hours at the hotel. The food included in the buffet breakfast may vary according to the chosen date and hotel. Lunch and dinner include 1 appetizer or soup, 1 entrée, and 1 dessert per person. Does not include beverages. Does not include lobster. The à la carte service is per person and non-transferrable. The purchase of this food does not apply for Room Service. Changes and cancellations do not apply for food purchase; it is not reimbursable or cumulative, unless the reservation for the stay is cancelled. Does not apply for special event dinners like Christmas and New Year’s Eve.
Policy for purchasing other travel complements with Kívac® PointsThere are no changes, cancellations or refunds in the purchase of activities, tours, transportation, and flights with Kívac® Points. The user understands and accepts that they are responsible for arriving on time at the scheduled appointments programmed at the designated places and for complying with the requirements requested to get these services.
International Reservation PolicyAn additional tax may be charged for some international destinations in local currency. This charge will be in addition to the one in Kívac® Points and to the reservation fee in case it exists. Kívac® is not responsible for this charge and will not refund travelers for this payment. Reservations shall be made 72 hours prior to check-in for international hotel booking.
Reservation Fee PolicyA reservation fee may apply whenever the Kívac® contract states that this fee is NOT included in the established price per point.
Environmental Sanitation TaxThe official decree for sanitation right came into effect on January 2019 in Cancún, in the Benito Juárez municipality of Quintana Roo, which consists of paying a $26.00 MXN fee per night during your stay, for the execution of environmental sanitation works, such as beach conservation and management, comprehensive treatment of urban solid waste, environmentally friendly public lighting, and the elimination of open landfills. This payment will be made directly at the hotel’s front desk and applies per room and per night. This fee is subject to change according to current official provisions.
Kívac® Xpand Travel PolicyWith Kívac® Xpand you can travel to all Kívac® hotels and to more than 10,000 external hotels in case Kívac® has no availability, i.e. to one of the exclusive Kívac® Xpand destinations. Also, you can travel to beach hotels on Holy Week, Easter, and to external hotels from December 16th through January 9th. You accrue Wishvac® Points for your future purchases of Kívac® Point packages. Wishvac® Points are 5% of the point total of your reservations in Grand Fiesta Americana, Fiesta Americana, The Explorean, Fiesta Inn, Gamma, and One Hotels (maximum 1500 points). Wishvac® Points may be used for purchasing your next Kívac® Point package. Access to exclusive Kívac® Xpand international destinations in the United States, Central and South America. You can get Kívac® Xpand in sales rooms, at the time of purchase of your Kívac® package, or through the Call Center by paying in Kívac® Points. Some hotels require for reservations to be made at least 72 prior to check-in. Check with your adviser. Wishvac® Points may be used for the purchase of your next Kívac® Points package only if the Xpand supplement is still valid. May apply for other municipalities.
