15 Promises from our Blessed Mother toSaint Dominic and Blessed Alan to all those

who would pray the Holy Rosary...1. Whoever shall faithfully serve me by the recitation of the Rosary, shallreceive signal graces.

2. I promise my special protection and the greatest graces to all those whoshall recite the Rosary.

3. The Rosary shall be powerful armor against hell. It will destroy vice,decrease sin and defeat heresies.

4. It will cause virtue and good works to flourish. It will obtain for souls theabundant mercy of God. It will withdraw the hearts of men from the love ofthe world and its vanities, and will lift them to the desire of eternal things.Oh, that souls would sanctify themselves by this means.

5. The soul which recommends itself to me by the recitation of the Rosary,shall not perish.

6. Whoever shall recite the Rosary devoutly, applying himself to theconsideration of its sacred mysteries, shall never be conquered bymisfortune. God will not chastise him in His justice. He shall not perish byan unprovided death. If he be just, he shall remain in the grace of God andbecome worthy of eternal life.

7. Whoever shall have a true devotion for the Rosary shall not die withoutthe sacraments of the Church.

8. Those who are faithful to recite the Rosary shall have, during their life andat their death, the light of God and the plentitude of His graces. At themoment of death, they shall participate in the merits of the saints inparadise.

OUR BELOVED BISHOP SPEAKS

THE FUTURE AS PRESENTRespected and dear brother-priests, religious and laity,

Two little girls were counting their pennies. One said, “I have five pennies.”The other said, “I have ten.” “No,” said the first little girl, “you have just fivecents, the same as I have.” “But,” the second child quickly replied, “myfather said that when he comes home tonight, he would give me five cents,and so I have ten cents.” The child’s faith gave her proof of that whichshe did not yet see, and she counted it because it had been promisedby her father.

Here are some famous promises of our heavenly Father given to us throughJesus:

1. “Come to me, all you that are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, andI will give you rest” (Mt 11:28).

2. “Ask, and it will be given you; search, and you will find; knock and thedoor will be opened for you” (Lk 11:9).

3. “You will have pain, but your pain will turn into joy” (Jn 16: 20b).

4. “I am with you always, to the end of the age” (Mt 28: 20).

If we believe that God is our Father and he is all powerful, hispromises will make us richer than what we are now.

01. As you all know the MISSION SUNDAY is celebrated on 21st

October 2012. Many of our Priests have already started to planout to celebrate it in a grand manner. May I request you Rev.Fathers to contribute more to the PONTIFICALSOCIETY FOR THE PROPAGATION OF FAITH and also to thePONTIFICAL SOCIETY OF THE HOLY CHILDHOOD this year.

02. Last year we were in the 8th place in the MISSION SUNDAY

COLLECTIONS, 7th place in the HOLY CHILDHOODCOLLECTIONS and 5th place in ST PETER THE APOSTLECOLLECTIONS. We would like to come to the FIRST PLACE inall the collections. May I request you to contribute more thisyear. I appreciate your efforts that you had taken last year tobring the collections to this level.

03. As you all know the is to be established in every parish of our diocese. TheRegional Secretary and the National Director are insisting muchon this. We have the booklets and the badges for the same inthe Procurator’s Office. Those who would like to get them pleasecontact the Procurator. Only limited copies are available. If youwish I shall bring the regional secretary or I shall come in Person tospeak to you about during the monthly recollection at thevicariate level.

04. I will be away from my desk from 01st October to 4th October2012.

05. A note to the Parish Priests: May I request you to collect theMission Sunday materials and ordo supplement from yourvicariate centres.
