SOMETHING WORTHWHILERespected and dear brother - priests, religious and laity,

Once, a man went to the King and said, "Your majesty, I havemastered an art with perpetual efforts of thirty years."

The King ordered him to demonstrate it.

The man brought a needle and kept it standing on a speciallydesigned stand. He then stood three feet away and threw a threadinto the needle hole and precisely it went through it. So now that hehad demonstrated his art. He looked into eyes of the King expectingthe King to shower him with gifts of all kinds.

Unfortunately for the man, the King ordered his minister, "Lock himup in the prison for wasting his thirty years over a useless act."

This story helps us find out whether we spend our life andtime on earth doing something worthwhile that bringssatisfaction to our life and others.

The Risen Lord who mastered the art of life and demonstrated itwith precision and perfection tells each one of us: See to it whetheryour life is useful to you and to the world.

Without wasting a second Jesus spent all his life and time indoing things that will please the Father in heaven, the Spiritin him, his neighbours and the Nature.

Some people waste their time waiting for other people to line up totheir expectations and fulfill their dreams and aspirations.

Some people waste their precious lives focusing on what they failedto do and what went wrong.

Some people waste their time in building castles in the air.

Such people are sleepwalking their whole life away.

What we need is engaging ourselves in useful activities.

Let us pray : "Dear Risen Lord, help us learn the art of living bylooking at your precious life. Let every moment of our life belong toyou and to this world. Amen."
