Innovation Funding Service (IFS)• Enables a fully online proposal submission and grant preparation process
• All competition guidance is now part of the service
– There are no documents to download for competitions run using IFS
• No registration required as before. Each participant creates an account, linked to the organisation they are representing
• Lead partner invites collaborators and assigns questions as needed
• Each lead and collaborator enter their own project costs

EU Funding: H2020 – Post EU Referendum
HMT’s underwriting guarantee (13th Aug 2016)“The Treasury will underwrite funding for approved Horizon 2020 projects applied for before the UK leaves the European Union”
Universities and Science Minister’s speech (18th July 2017)“…As a reminder, under this guarantee, the government has committed to underwrite the funding for all successful bids made by UK participants for Horizon 2020 projects that are submitted before EU exit … the underwrite covers projects that are ongoing at the point of EU exit, as well as funding that will be applied for before the UK’s departure from the EU and that is subsequently successful post-brexit.”
