KRISTIN MARI EGUSA
Kristin is a professional dancer and choreographer based in Los Angeles, California. It is her
diverse background that inspires her to bring a common ground for all dancers.
LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS SPIRIT DANCE TEAM
o 4 year member from 2004-2008
– Performed dance routines
– Assisted game entertainment such as sponsorships, giveaways,
announcements, etc.
– Ambassador for the Clippers organization at charities, events and
volunteer opportunities
o Dance Captain from 2005-2008
– Assisted the director during rehearsals, games, appearances,
costuming and workshops
– Updated fellow team members with game day agenda
o In- Arena Co-Host
– Broadcasted live with other hosts to update fans about current
Clippers news, sponsorships, media, giveaways, etc.

Dance Department
Kristin currently teaches hip-hop to both dance majors and
non-majors. She really enjoys introducing a new style to the
dance department and strives to maintain it’s presence
within the program for all dancers to experience.
Kristin is a graduate from Cal State Long Beach. She
received a BA degree in Interpersonal and Organizational
Communications. Though she did not major in dance, Kristin
took every dance class with her spare units and even
assisted her jazz professor, Andy Vaca. When graduation
came, she left with an interest in communications and a
passion for dance. Thus, she pursued performance,
choreography and teaching. A few years later, she was
contacted by her former jazz professor and now current
Assistant Chair and was offered a position to teach as a part-
time faculty member. Kristin has been honored to be a part
of such a diverse and talented group of professors. She is
humbled everyday teaching along side of her mentors.

Kristin has an extensive background in dance team choreography.
She was most recently hired to choreograph for the LA Clippers 2010-
2011 dance team audition process. Her passion for teaching and
choreography has enabled her to connect with dancers both nationally
and internationally.
PERFORMANCE
Kristin continues to diversify her career as a dancer
and performer. She has established herself in both the
pro team world and the dance industry. As a client with
MSA Agency, one of Hollywood’s top dance agencies,
Kristin has been given many opportunities to work with top
choreographers and artists.

JAPANESE PRO DANCE WORKSHOPS
Kristin was fortunate to fulfill one of her dreams and travel to Japan. For two consecutive summers she held pro
dance team workshops, make-up and fitness seminars and junior dance team clinics. It was such a delightful
experience introducing the American-style sports entertainment to the Japanese dancers. Kristin traveled to
Tokyo, Niigata, Kiyosato, Chiba, Kamagawa, Yokohama and other cities to reach out to dancers and give them
the opportunity to learn from an American NBA dancer. For most Japanese cheerleaders and dancers, it is a
dream to travel to the U.S. and dance professionally on a team. Kristin can only hope that she made it more of a
tangible goal for them.
