These days, that same group gets together in Šmartno, a northern suburb of Ljubljana, to prepare for concerts. Amazingly, after 27 years, the group is almost entirely intact, a true testament to their friendship and their love of singing. Krila, the Slovenian word for wings, performs regularly throughout Slovenia and neighboring coun- tries, sharing their passion for the voice in concert halls, and in support of worthy causes. Their repertoire is quite varied. For us, they will sing Slovenian folk songs, and songs about Slovenia. Minnesota is home to many Slovenian-Americans who value their common heritage. This concert will be the next best thing to being in Slovenia for all who attend. Come hear the concert and meet the Krila singers in the lobby afterward. There will also be refresh- ments and quite possibly some "potica" available.

Sundin Music Hall at Hamline University1531 Hewitt Ave, St Paul, MN 55104

Twenty-seven years ago in Slovenia, a young group of thirteen friends began gathering to sing for their own enjoyment. These days, that same group gets together in Šmartno, a northern suburb of Ljubljana, to prepare for concerts. Amazingly, after 27 years, the group is almost entirely intact, a true testament to their friendship and their love of singing.

Krila, the Slovenian word for wings, performs regularly throughout Slovenia and neighboring coun-tries, sharing their passion for the voice in concert halls, and in support of worthy causes.

There will also be refresh-ments and quite possibly some "potica" available.
