ForwardCCI’s on-line Key Performance IndicatorManagement Tool allows you to benchmark yourcompany over 50 different national and regionalindicators and this Manual gives brief instructionson how start using the Tool.

The KPI Management Tool is a subscriptionservice and before you start using the serviceyou must have a User Name and a Password,supplied by CCI. M

1. Logging In

Type in your user name and password and usethe blue login button

2. Main Screen

From this screen you may either

Update company details – this allows you tochange the address and details of your company.You may also access KPI updates from thisscreen

Update company performance – this screenallows you to update your annual company KPIs.

Update project performance – this allows youto update KPIs for an individual project.

Benchmark Reports – allows to create reportson your company and project performance.

3. Company DetailsYou may select the blue Update Company detailsperformance to change you address. Selectingthis button will take you to a new screen that willallow you to change these details.

The other links will take you to the related pagesfor your company.

4. Update CompanyPerformance

This will show you your company performancedetails. They are defaulted to the minimumvalues. The info link by each KPI will give youmore information about the individual KPI. Toupdate these details select the blue UpdateCompany Performance button.

You will be able to update performance on thenext screen. You may either type directly into thebox or use the calculator to add in the score. Touse the calculator type in the requestedinformation, press calculate and the press thesubmit button to copy it into the KPI score.

The filters at the side are only relevant if you area member of a benchmarking club – this willreduce the number of KPIs you have to changeto the relevant benchmarking club details.

5. Update ProjectPerformance

To enter data for a project you must either selectan old project or create a new project.

To create a new project select the new buttonand this will take you to a window where you canadd in the details of the project and update therelevant KPIs. This works in the same way as thecompany KPIs.

6. Create a BenchmarkReport

To create a benchmarking report

• Select company KPIs or project from thedrop down list

• Select the Benchmark Group you would liketo measure against. This decides whichlook up tables you would like to use.National Benchmarks are from thepublished look-up tables. You must do thisto have the KPIs to select

• Select average you would like to have tocompare your scores against. This puts asecond set of scores to show the averagefor a specific group.

• You will then have a list of KPIs. Select theones

• you wish to display on the radar chart.

• Select show comparison report

To view a report select Show ComparisonReport

You can then either: -

• Print report

• Save as HTML to open in word

• Create worksheet to add more information

• Save as CSV to use in excel

• Save as XML to use in web basedapplications
