- Hyundai Motor is constructing proving ground near Hyundai Mobis facility.

Automobile industry stakeholders should gather their capabilities.
- International partnerships are inevitable for efficient development of
the autonomous vehicle industry.
• OEMs assistance of developing technology of suppliers
- HMC has formed an innovation ecosystem with more than 400 suppliers and supported
their technology and parts development.
• Korean government has supported human resource development for
autonomous vehicle of Korean universities since 2016.
- 9 universities participated.
• Labor union positively considers paradigm shift of automotive industry
and requires retraining program.
- Dept. of Labor is collaborating with auto companies for developing program.
