Objective : Create regulations on green building construction and

policy instruments to reduce GHG emissions reduction and to

encourage construction of green buildings

Provisions

• Establish a system providing a building’s energy- and GHG-related information in order to manage information and statistics regarding GHG emissions and energy use of a building

• Lift regulations on floor area ratio of green buildings

• When an owner or a manager of a building intends to sell or rent the building, energy consumption certificate shall be provided

• Subsidize projects for green building construction, reduce taxes (income, corporation, acquisition, registration)

• Reduction in mandatory fee for environmental improvement (Top Grade 50%~20%) • When local governments adopt mandatory certification policy, they are entitled to eased
