ESB Networks

Description & Features: Using Kony PS resources, ESB Networks

MyWork App went live on iPhone 6. This is a field service metering B2E app for

helping technicians execute the work orders. It’s the first enterprise app to be deployed on to a smart phone in ESB. The User’s experience on working with the previous app has been improved 360 times, from an average response time of 3 minutes to .5 seconds. ESB’s Mobile Network Technician’s are now able to services all types of Utilities work orders on the Field without worrying about the network availability.

Description & Features: XIlinxGo is envisioned as gateway app for

Xilinx customers and employees. It will be a one-stop shop for getting Xilinx product, financial and support news .

DBS PayLah Application (1/2)

Description & Features: Kony has implemented PayLah for DBS. Details

below: Mobile Wallet is an application which allows user of

the application to send and receive money using mobile number rather than a bank account number. This is based on concept, any person having DBS CASA account with Internet Banking can use this application to send and receive money from a mobile number. One Customer Identification Number will be able to hold only one Wallet per mobile device registered to a given mobile number. Each Wallet has 3 kinds of limit: Daily Transfer limit, Withdrawal/Overflow to CASA Limit, and Wallet Limit. Daily transfer limit is the max amount that a Wallet user can send to another Wallet in either single transaction or in separate transactions. Whereas Withdrawal/Overflow limit is the max amount that can be transferred to linked CASA account in a day. Daily Transfer limit and Withdrawal limit are refreshed on daily basis. Wallet user have the option to change their image on Wallet (Avatar), Nickname, Passcode, Linked account, Mobile number, and Daily Transfer limit from within the Wallet. This application is supported by separate module – Wallet Admin Module. Wallet’s Admin module is a desktop application which would allow Customer Service Officer to service Wallet user requests and grievances if any.

DBS mWallet proposes to achieve Person-to-Person fund transfer among its customers by making use of mobile numbers. DBS Customer would be able to send money to another DBS Customer’s mobile number directly. No need to know receiver account number or to add them as Payee before sending them money.

DBS customer can open one mobile Wallet per Mobile Banking User ID/Customer Identification Number. Following is the high level feature list

Next Steps: These Apps are being enhanced for the first German store rollout (> 300 stores) to include financing functionality, sales from nearby stores as well as direct sales from the online stock in case of stock unavailability – extended by “drop shipment” stock. Also, KPNS is being integrated into the EMM container and an automatic sync of EMM users with KPNS will ensure direct communication between country management and employees.

The German pilot stores rollout is planned for Q4 2014.

Kony provided the expertise for both Cap Gemini and Delta Dental during the execution of this project which was implemented on Kony's Healthcare Vertical App 2.0 Solution. The blueprinting Kick off happened on April 8th 2013 and the project went live to public on 15th Aug with the total duration of little over 4 months. This is one of the projects, where there were no major platform/VA defects reported. bank offers “Available immediate” option in mobile deposit. The app was being monitored for past 2 weeks and the results are phenomenal. There are more than $2 million deposits through the mobile devices in 2 weeks. Regions Bank is recognizing revenue with each deposit. The Regions mobile banking app is now a revenue generating channel for Regions and not just a service channel. Charging a fee for a normal check deposit is also first of its kind in US banking. 

Regions Bank went live on July 22nd on additional channel - Mobile Web (Link: mobile web) on Kony platform in addition to the existing channels of Android, iPhone, iPAD and Blackberry. Kony’s testimony of the platform capabilities and professional services prompted Regions to move the mobile web channel as well as replace FiServ.

In addition to the new channel, enhanced version of native apps for all the above platforms also went live on 22nd July with the functionalities below.

The Mobile Banking Application will offer enhanced bill payment capabilities with integration to a new backend payments system from Fiserv.

eBill payments have been added to the mobile banking channel on all platforms including thin client.

Challenges faced and overcome : BSC has an existing Mobile Web site and Kony

DBS PayLah Application (1/2)Description & Features:  Review Com Kony has implemented PayLah for DBS. Details below: Mobile Wallet is an application which allows user of the

application to send and receive money using mobile number rather than a bank account number. This is based on concept, any person having DBS CASA account with Internet Banking can use this application to send and receive money from a mobile number. One Customer Identification Number will be able to hold only one Wallet per mobile device registered to a given mobile number. Each Wallet has 3 kinds of limit: Daily Transfer limit, Withdrawal/Overflow to CASA Limit, and Wallet Limit. Daily transfer limit is the max amount that a Wallet user can send to another Wallet in either single transaction or in separate transactions. Whereas Withdrawal/Overflow limit is the max amount that can be transferred to linked CASA account in a day. Daily Transfer limit and Withdrawal limit are refreshed on daily basis.
