Intro Welcome to the Bob Moog Omnisphere Preset Browser Pack for the Native Instruments Komlete Kontrol software

This browser pack contains 1500 presets for the Bob Moog Tribute expansion for Omnisphere 2 that can be loaded and browsed

directly using the Komplete Kontrol software. All presets have been "wrapped" into NKS files that contain the preset

information, tagging information and mapped controls.

Tag information contains sound type, sub type, mood, genre, complexity ann organised in KK compatible tags and available to be

browsed directly.

Compatibility / Requirements - Komplete Kontrol v1.5+ (Also works in Maschine 2.4)

Installation

First ensure you have both Omnisphere 2 and the Bob Moog Tribute library installed and available to the Komlete Kontrol software. It should already appear in your File > Plugins menu. Unzip the files and you will find the preset files folder to be copied to your Komplete Kontrol User folder. Copy the Omnisphere folder to your User folder: Preset Files: Contains the preset files that need to be added to your user library. Copy this folder to your user library location. By default the user library is located at: WIN: C:\Users\[USER]\Documents\Native Instruments\User Content MAC: Users/[USER]/Documents/Native Instruments/User Content You can confirm this location within the komplete software preferences

NOTE: This package just includes the preset files. Artwork is supplied with the Omnisphere 2 preset pack. This is just the expansion library presets for Omnisphere.

The Preset Browser

Presets are accessed by selecting the User library icon at the top of the browser . It is currently not possible to add user created presets to the factory library. You can browse using any tags or reconfigure/rename tags using the komplete tag editor. Selecting a preset from the list will open Omnisphere and automatically load the preset. You can then use the mapped controls to control Omnisphere.

Controller Mappings Most of the common controls are pre-mapped and grouped for both layer A/B. There are 4 "User" pages at the end that are ready for custom controls for a preset. Use these to add custom effects or other patch specific controls

How Were The Presets Created? Essentially there is no simple way to create a preset browser pack like this at the moment unless you are a plug-in developer. Presets can be saved from a VST one at a time into Komplete Kontrol which is completely impractical for a beast such as Omnisphere. In addition to saving the presets you then need to work through all the tags which again, takes a Loooong time. For more information on the creation process see click Here

Problems \ Questions? Missing Presets \ Tags: Though the scripting process works well, nothing is ever perfect. You may notice the occasional preset missing or some tags that are not set or possibly some issues around some of the tag categories. If you happen to notice anything that needs fixing just let me know and I will get it fixed up. Donors will receive free updates to the preset packs when these are pushed to the site so worth the time to report if it's something major. Installation Issues: If you are having issues with installing and using the presets, check out the Forum Thread to ask other users who may have some solutions. It should be pretty straight forward following the instructions provided but if all else fails you can contact me via my website. Donation Sent But Haven't Received Download: I don't have an automated cart based system in place to handle "purchases" so have to manually activate downloads. While I try and do this same day there may be the odd delays with Life getting in the way but rest assured I will certainly get it done. You must make sure you Register on my site to allow you access to the downloads. This will ensure you are able to download these again in the future and also access updates should they be released. If you have not received contact from me in 24/48 hours after donation or do not see a "donor download" area in the downloads section when you are logged in just contact me I Would Like Other Presets created: I can only create presets for instruments I own (I do not use illegal software) and the list I am working on is Omnisphere, Trilian, Sylenth1, Korg Legacy, Z3tA+2 and several others. I am always on the lookout for new VST instruments at good prices so may do more down the track. I have been asked a few times if I could share my script and I may do that down the track but the script is far from plug-&-play and requires some knowledge of scripting. Additionally the scripts I use have been created and finetuned over years from doing similar work for Ableton Push so i'm not quite willing just yet to give away the hours/days/weeks of work creating the code and then supporting it.
