OperationGlycol Heat Trace Systems by Kold KatcherTM is an innovative heat trace system ideally suited for remote oil and gas facilities where power is not available. It is specifically designed for Class I, Div I and II heat trace applications. It is an enclosed loop, glycol based circulating system that automatically senses any loss in glycol return temperature and immediately adjusts to maintain consistent heat within the loop. This consistent control through fluctuating daily winter temperatures truly makes the Kold KatcherTM stand alone.

The system requires natural gas or propane as a fuel source.

HTT SeriesPower for the circulation pump is provided by an onsite Thermo-Electric Generator (TEG). An explosion proof heater transfers heat to the coolant.

FTR SeriesSpecifically built for tank heating, freeze protection, well-site de-waxing, and other applications that require higher heating requirements. Heavy and light oil, paraffin control, water/emulsion separation enhancement, etc.

Solar Pump Skids (Heater Bath Circulators)Designed to eliminate vent gas associated with pneumatic (gas driven) pumps. Uses solar power or power supplied from Thermo-Electric Generator (TEG) to drive 24 VDC circulation pump.

Solar Power Systems Solar power systems provide remote power for well site applications requiring power.

Heated Fuel Gas ScrubbersProvide heat at critical instrumentation points. Inlets to ESD’s, pilot gas to fired heaters, reduce fuel gas condensation points. Use them individually or in series.

Thief Hatch HeatersDesigned to act as a heated collar bolted beneath the theif hatch. Built of aluminum, the heated collar transfers heat to the body of the theif hatch preventing any ice build-up, or operational hazards.

Temperature Sensors Provide run status when desired through temperature monitoring. Sensor connects directly to remote transmitting unit. Enclosure/Cabinet Heaters

Provide heat for battery boxes, RTU’s, truck load out enclosures, insulated panel structures that contain small pressure vessels such as scrubbers.

Tank Insertion HeaterDesigned to bolt onto 4”150 inlet flange of production tank. Provides a heating solution to fiber-glass tanks. Used to prevent produced water from freeze up. Incoming fluid disperses heat throughout the tank evenly.

Radiant Heat Transfer HoseRecommended when installation is not permanent as with oil wells with short life cycle. Hose can be removed readily, cuts down on installation costs, easily installed at any temperature, flame & freeze resistant, kink & crush resistant, unaffected by sunlight. 25 Year Warranty.

Removable Pipe InsulationProvides an economical solution to insulating pipe. Installation is made easy by built in straps that allow for quick installation. Removable when access to piping is required.
