Eucalyptus leaves koalas eat about 2 pounds of leaves. The plants smell like cough drops. So, when the koala is done eating the leaves it smells like cough drops.

koalas be safe is pay attention to signs that says “slow down” then shows a picture of a koala.

Sometimes people kill koalas on the streets because they don’t pay attention to the signs and they just “zoom”!

can run as fast as a rabbit.

The only time koalas run is if they run from tree to tree or running from predators.

tree to live in.Koalas don’t drink

much they get water from the leaves they eat.

endangered yet but they are labeled vulnerable. There are many reasons why koalas are endangered some are because of habitat destruction ,dog attacks, bush fires, road accidents.

There are less than 43,000-80,000 koalas left in the wild.
