Extract taken from a speech given by Mark Ridgway at the parliamentary reception in the House of Commons in the presence of a cross party group of MP's interested in manufacturing and also the BIS Minister, Michael Fallon, MP.
“My Company, Group Rhodes joined forces several years ago with Sheffield Hallam University to both improve our skill set and also develop new products and processes that would differentiate our products on the international stage. Last year we won the Technology Strategy Board, Best University Industry Partnership in the North East of England and developed a range of capital equipment. This equipment has already racked up multi million pound sales in Europe and Asia.”
