Maharshi Dayanand University, Initially known as Rohtak

University,was established by an act, of Legislature of Haryana in 1976

with the objective to promote inter-disciplinary higher education &

reserch in the field of environmental, ecological & life sciences. Initially

it was a unitary & residential university but in November 1978, it

became an affiliating university. Through an amendment in the Act in

1977, it was named after the great revolutionary & social reformer

Maharshi Dayanand & came to be known as Maharshi Dayanand

University, Rohtak. The University Grants Commission recognized

this university under section 2(f) for the recognition of degree and

under section 12(b) for central grants on Feb 2, 1983.The NAAC has

granted Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak B++ Grade,

institution score of 80.25.

BBA (Industry Integrated) is a 3 year regular degree programme aimed

at developing management skills, and providing practical job

knowledge. Students learn to handle dynamic business situations

through industry exposure. The programme judiciously blends

functional areas of management and requisite industry relevant skill

sets.
