‘The Initiative’Foundations – The Ambuja Knowledge Initiative is an endeavour to seek the patronage and partnership of the AEC Community for the world of Cement and Concrete! It stems from Ambuja’s belief in the continuous evolution of architecture, engineering and the construction industries, thereby offering its professionals platforms of information, inspiration and interaction.
‘The Centre’The Ambuja Knowledge Centre is the physical interactive resource for this ambition. It aims to function as an experience centre that promotes and offers solutions for cement and concrete applications in construction. It serves as a professional’s interface between a market provider and an ideation partner for concrete techniques and technologies.
In essence the AKC aims to provide AEC professionals the following oppurtunities:• Material Library • Reference portal • Professional Support / guide availability • Allows a hands-on experience of cement / concrete • Inspires usage of product / material • Allows a broad understanding of opportunities and resource for the same. • One stop shop for ideas.
The very first Ambuja Knowledge Centre was launched in Ahmedabad in 2009. It was followed by launches in Jaipur, Kolkata, Cochin and recently in Mumbai in May, 2010. Our latest endeavour, the Foundations website provides online assistance to any information need about cement and concrete.
