1932 McCall Sewing Pattern

I found this pattern at a local antique fair. The pattern was in perfect condition and was uncut. In order to preserve the pattern pieces, I made copies to work with and left the original in one piece.

This dress is made to fit a 22 inch doll.

1940’s Learn to Knit

This outfit is from the book I Learn to Knit to Dress My Doll, Primrose. The book was published by a yarn company and includes a children’s story about a doll and other toys. At the end of the story there is a learn to knit section that includes several outfits for a 16 inch doll. The yarn used is fingering weight. Both the skirt and sweater are tied with a knitted icord.

1957 Workbasket Magazine

My mom saved many years of the Workbasket Magazine. This dress is made with a self striping sock yarn. The dress fits a 7-8 inch doll. The back has a snap and button closure.

Mini Apron

Simplicity Pattern #2748 is currently available and has several vintage type aprons to sew in miniature.

Aprons fit an 11 ½ inch fashion doll.

Mary Maxim 14 inch DollThis doll along with the yarn and

patterns for the sweater and skirt were purchased as a kit from Mary Maxim.

The designer of this outfit is

Nicky Epstein.

Pillow Based Doll

This dress and apron are my own design. It is a half doll placed on a pillow shaped based. Custom orders are available by contacting

6 ¾ inch Cindy Doll

This dress is my own design. These dolls are available at craft stores. The dress is a wrap dress with a ribbon closure. Since there are no buttons or snaps this is a great doll for a young child.

This dress is my original design. There are several other dresses in the collection for this doll.

The pattern for this dress is available at www.knitnsewstudio.com

18 inch Doll Fashions

This dress, poncho, and sweater are my original designs. Each is made with a worsted weight yarn. These outfits are available as custom made outfits. Inquire at [email protected]
