�Little girls love to play with dolls! I certainly did,

and now I love to design for them.The 18-inch dolls featured in this book have soared in popularity in recent

years, and they’re the perfect size to show off knitted fashions.

In this book you’ll find a closetful. The outfits I’ve created range from casual

to formal, tomboy to princess, and they’re all fun to knit and fun to

accessorize. In fact, many of the projects include dainty knitted

accessories, from purses to hats to socks.

I’ve created these designs as I create designs for children:

to be unique, fashionable, and fun to wear. After all,

the dolls of our children are like their children, and dressing the dolls in

these fashions will give them a whole new personality and a closer

connection with their “play mommies.”

These knits for dolls are a wonderful opportunity for adults and

children to learn, have fun, and be creative together. You can inspire

a child to discover the joy of knitting as you work and then play

together in a fashionable world that you create.
