Page 5, Section III Code for Constituent Commanderies of the Grand Commandery
of Washington, - Added the following:
(g) each Knight Templar born on the rolls of a Chartered
Commandery, three ($3.00) dollars will be assessed annually for
the support of the Annual York Rite Grand Sessions and shall
be collected with the annual report. These assessed fees
collected will be forwarded, within thirty (30) days following
receipt, to the Secretary/Recorder of the Grand York Rite Bodies
of Washington Sessions Committee.

Section III, 3.5. Constituent Commandery Quorum: A quorum of a Commandery
in Washington State shall consist of five members entitled to vote therein, including
an Officer authorized to open the same.

Washington, Section 5.0, 5.1, Amended paragraph 4 -Added the following:
The Grand Treasurer and Grand Recorder, in consultation with the Grand
Commander shall, by the end of May following the annual Grand Session, each
appoint an assistant who will have all access, authorizations, permissions and
privileges of their elected counterpart. The appointed assistants shall have no
special title, place or insignia due to the appointment. The Grand Treasurer and
Grand Recorder may appoint one or more assistants to aid them in the performance
of their duties as necessary.

Washington, Section 5.0, 5.1, Amended paragraph 6 -Added the following:
No Appointed Officers except the Grand Prelate, and Grand Sentinel, Assistant
Grand Treasurer and Assistant Grand Recorder shall be appointed to any other
appointive office in the year following his term.

Sir Knights may wear, as an alternate uniform, for the general conduct of business
of the asylum and for the conferral of the Order of the Temple, the Cap and Mantle

or the Summer Uniform in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Grand
Encampment of Knights Templar of the United States of America. When forming
ranks for public ceremonies, parades, etc., they shall form two three units, one in
Class A uniform, one in Summer Uniform and one in Cap and Mantle uniform.

Washington, Section 2.0 Uniform – Amended the following:
The Order of Knights Templar is declared to be a uniformed Order. No member of
this Grand Commandery or of its Constituent Commanderies shall be eligible for
election, appointment or installation as an officer who is not the owner of a regulation
Knights Templar Dress. Full Templar Uniform comprises a Chapeau or White
Garrison Cap with appropriate hat badge and chin strap, Dress Coat, trousers, inside
leather belt with sling, sword, scabbard, gloves, black shoes, black socks, white shirt
and black long tie.

Washington, Section 2.0 Uniform, 2.0, 2.1, 2.1.2 – Amended the following:
Insignia - May be Bullion or Mylar embroidery, or ½ inch metal lapel pins in the
appropriate silver or gold color depending on the rank of the Sir Knight.

Constituent Commandery number will be worn on the left and right lapels just below
the lapel notch accordingly.

Knights: Pershing style cap, White Garrison Cap with appropriate hat badge, or Bell
type cap of black or white cloth. Visor of black leather, or other appropriate man-
made material, double knotted black silk cord, 3/16" in diameter or silver metallic
chin strap, chin strap or and cord attached to corner of visor by gold plated cross
and crown buttons. In center of cap in front of a Passion Cross of bright red velvet,
bordered with silver plated bullion embroidery, 1 1/2" in height, cross arms to be in
proportion to height of cross.

2.3.7Nametags When worn, the nametag shall be centered on the right breast of the
coat, even with the tops of the ribbons on the left breast. Name tags shall be
rectangular with 1" X 3" dimensions and shall be black in color with white letters, the
first, MI and last name of the Sir Knight in 1/4" block letters. The second line identifies
the position held in the case of an elected or appointed line officer, or the Constituent
Commandery name and number, and shall be no larger than 3/8” block letters.

letters, or metal, silver or gold in color as appropriate to the rank of the Sir Knight,

3.5 Christian Clergy Cross Christian Clergy Ordained by recognized Christian
denominations may wear the “USAF Officers Christian Chaplain Cross” metal
insignia centered above the left breast pocket of the Class A or Summer Uniforms,
