October 11 , 2018 October o4 h Meeting New Board Tonight, we had a packed house25 members, 8 guests and 1 Key Club member. Mystery Handshake Ken Richmond was our mystery hand shaker tonight and he caught Dale, Matthew, and Bill J. Happy Bucks Dr John had $3 – 1 sitting with members again, 2 - Granddaughter dedicated the Terry Fox run to Debbie’s cat, 3 – the wonderful time Cindy had at the last meeting of the summer when she found a frog. Cindy – Dale Smith was more excited about the frog than she was. Brian D – Good to see Dale and Mary Ann still going at it. Mary Ann – Christmas House Tour is a go again for this year JoJo – Happy she joined this great group LG Doug – 2$ - Louise will be taking over from him at the end of the 2018/19 year LD Doug addressed our club saying he greatly appreciated getting to know us over the past year. He talked about conventions and how important they are in meeting and understanding Kiwanis members from other parts of the world. He gave a plug for the up coming EC&C convention next spring in Stratford Ontario. He also told us that the Governor will be visiting our club next April. He said that Signature projects define a club and he was happy to know we have quite a few such as the Santa Clause Parade, the Teddy bear Picnic and the Easter Egg hunt to name a few. Kiwanis Fun

New Board

Tonight, we had a packed house25 members, 8 guests and 1 Key Club member.

Past President Alan Thank LG Doug for his kind word tonight.

LG Doug then thanked the outgoing board members for their

hard work and dedication this club over the past two years.

Following that he inducted the new board members and the

executive.

Kiwanian Shaun introduced Trustee Sheila Moore, who gave us a

run down on her position and gave a plug for the Stratford

Convention.

Key Club President, Trinity, gave us an update on their “Harvest

Days” event

Dr John shared a Thank You card from the school for helping to

making their Parent/Teacher meet night a great success.

October 06,2019 -The Fish Fry

This was our last fish fry for 2018. We served 234 people in two

hours. Thanks to Brian H and everybody that gave their time on

Friday, Saturday and Sunday to make this one a success. There

are 2-pound bags of frozen fish available talk to Dr. John if you

are interested in purchasing some.

Awards Night – Ken present certificate to John & Dale 40 years,

Mike Mervin and Gary Wake 20 years, and Debbie 15 years.
