KitchenDraw Training Exercises Introduction

This book is to be followed in conjunction with your Training Modules. It contains several exercises to practice your newly acquired skills in KitchenDraw, and aims to test how well you have understood the modules. Exercise One starts out the simplest, and works towards Exercise Five being more involved and tricky. Each exercise is divided into the steps taught in different modules; therefore you will start with Exercise One, Module One then onto Exercise Two, Module One and so on. Once you have finished the five exercises for Module One, go back to your online tutorials and training manual and begin Module Two. Once you have watched Module Two, you come back to this book and begin Exercise One, Module Two… and so on until you complete all five exercises and all ten modules. Each step within the exercise will tell you which skill or action it is asking you to practice. At the end of your training modules you should have several different .scn files saved for your different wall configurations, as well as 5 complete kitchen scenes. Overall these exercises cover about 95% of all skills required to be a proficient KitchenDraw user, the remaining 5% being experience and practice. Ultimately the time and effort you put into your training will determine how much you get out of it, so ensure that you understand each step before moving on, and good luck!

For each wall exercise below, start a new KitchenDraw scene and save each file using false client details. Remember to ‘Save as’ as soon as you open the master file, or else you will over-write the template. Once you have finished each wall, click the cube icon (left) to see your finished walls.
