means anythingAll our plays have a number designation/all even

numbers are plays run to the rightall odd numbers are plays run to

the left. We will know this from practice and repetition.

So Navy tell us the formation.

Vince tells us Veer Option. Only the last number in 567 means anything.the7 which is an odd

number tells us we are running Veer Option to the left.

Remember even numbers right and odd number left

7 is an odd number so we would be running 15 Victor.

    To Be a Kingsmen Lineman

Halfbacks dance and halfbacks flirt, while linemen crawl and eat dirt. When game time comes, backs run the ball.

When glory comes, they get it all.

But if 100 yards they gain, it's through the linemen's swear and pain.

While halfbacks cry when they see blood, linemen hide it under mud.

Some backs have moves and others speed, but spirit's all a linemanneeds.

Backs are good and some are fine, but they'd be nothing without the

    line.

A halfback loves and then he weds, but linemen only love their sleds.

The fans all see halfbacks run, but few see what the line has done. And that's why those who know agree, theres half a game the fans

    dont see.

    This is a two-on-two drill

    working two offensive lineman

vs. a defensive lineman and a

backer. This is a generic drill

where we will put guards with

    tackles and centers with

guards. We want this to be a

game speed drill once theinitial teaching is done.

    You must work against twists,

    slants, and loops!

This is our three on three drill we do a lot

because of stacked fronts. We get head up

tackles that will slant. We work this drill with

the front side, then the backside. We get our

eyes up and this teaches the kids to be able to

work an inside threat. We teach patience inthis drill and we follow a very strict rule, Dont

    Chase Backers.
