Plantation Site

All wedding ceremonies are subject to a $1,500 fee plus tax. Fee includes site fee, setup and breakdown for the re-

hearsal and ceremony and 100 white padded chairs. Additional white padded chairs are $5.00 each plus tax. For

outdoor ceremonies, an indoor space will be reserved as a back up in case of inclement weather.

by water and turtles or take a step back in history at our Plantation Site!

Kingsmill Wedding Planning Congratulations, you selected Kingsmill Resort and are ready to begin planning your special

day! After your initial visit, and contract agreement, most planning can be done by phone and

email followed by two in-person meetings. The first meeting takes place within six months of

your wedding date and includes a menu tasting for up to four (4) people. Tastings are available

by appointment only, Monday—Friday, between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. A second meeting, at

least 30 days prior to your wedding, will finalize all details.

Your Kingsmill Wedding Planner will anticipate and plan for the many details that will make

your wedding special and unique. Kingsmill’s Wedding Coordination Fee is a mandatory fee

that includes the following services:

One (1) complimentary River One Bedroom Suite for two nights.

Two (2) One Bedroom Suite Upgrades at the guest room rate.

Assistance with overnight accommodations for your bridal party and guests.

A menu and cake tasting for up to four guests.

Final walk-through of space and planning details one month prior to the wedding.

Coordination of vendor deliveries, set ups and meals.

Coordination of a ceremony rehearsal at Kingsmill Resort.

Coordination of weather back up plan.

Preparation of two ready rooms; one for bride party; one for groom.

Organization of box/gift storage, delivery and on property transportation.

Set-up of reception including table numbers, card box and place cards.

White napkins and floor length linens, silverware, glassware, china, 3 votive candles and mirror,

dance floor. Specialty linens are available upon request (additional fees apply).

Additional tables for place cards, gifts, guestbook, DJ setup, etc.
