Our British Council accredited English Language Centre and the Modern Language Centre can help you acquire new skills or improve existing ones.

The Graduate School offer study and social spaces specifically dedicated to our postgraduate community.

A wide range of King’s accommodation is available, all within zones 1 & 2 of London, and priority is given to international students who have not lived or worked in the UK before.

Student supportRenowned for it’s supportive and friendly atmosphere, King’s offers help and advice at every stage. Student services are there to support you, from the time you join King’s and need help with settling in, until the time you complete your programme.

With a dedicated team of international student advisors and a special international orientation programme, you will soon feel at home and make great friends.

Personal tutors are assigned to every student to offer advice and aid in academic matters and learning needs.

The King’s Careers Service is always on hand to help you with employment in and outside the UK.

The Graduate School offer personal development opportunities with the Researcher Development Programme.

Vibrant student experienceThe King’s experience encompasses far more than study. King’s students have the opportunity to take part in a host of events, including talks given by high-profile speakers such as Kofi Annan and British Prime Ministers, exhibitions and debates.

KCLSU, the King’s Student Union, is one of the most active in the UK. As well as providing social spaces such as the Waterfront Bar (voted coolest student bar in London by Metro newspaper) and Tutu’s nightclub (named after Desmond, the King’s alumnus), student representatives ensure the voice of the student population is heard.

You’ll find over a 100 clubs and societies that will enable you to get involved, whatever your interest; sports, culture, music, theatre, politics, literature.

Many King’s students choose to engage in social projects and KCLSU have supported over 24,000 hours of voluntary work in the last year.

Your community at King’sKing’s currently has over 25 students from Mexico pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes, contributing to a vibrant Latin American and international community at King's.

Mexican students find the College very welcoming . Given King’s location, links to London’s Latin American communities are never far away, with events such Europe's largest Latin American festival, Carnaval del Pueblo, on the doorstep.

The King’s Hispanics Society also organises and takes part in many cultural events and social activities throughout the year, and is a great way to meet those with a real interest in Latin America, as well as friends from closer to home.

King’s is proud to have strategic partnerships with leading institutions across the globe and is pleased to have links with both Universidad Naciónal de México and Querétaro, Tecnológico de Monterrey.

Entry requirements & Application processEnglish Language requirements

King’s accepts a range of English qualifications , including IELTS (minimum 6.5 - 7.0, depending on programme) and TOEFL (minimum 580 + 4.0 TWE/93 – 603 + 5.0 TWE/100, depending on programme)

UndergraduateIB, typically 34-38, depending on subjectA-levels/AS-levels , typically BBB/pass - AAA/BBachillerato with a mark of 8 PLUS a foundation yearAt least one year of the Licenciatrua at a Mexican University with a grade of 8

All applications are made via UCAS: www.ucas.com. The deadline for applications is 15th January, for all subjects except Medicine and Dentistry (15th October).

PostgraduateApplicants who hold a Bachelor Degree (Licenciatura) from a recognised Mexican university who have completed four or more years of study will be considered for entry onto our postgraduate programmes. Applicants should achieve at least 8/10. For Research programmes, a Master degree is normally required.
