• For this project, I’m doing a research on King Nebkheperura Tutankhamun (King Tut for short). The slides I will be talking about is, who he was, tomb find, why he was such a great king, and more extra stuff.

• He was born 1341 B.C.• Died 1323 B.C.• Born in Egypt.• He was well known as

the ancient Egyptian ruler.• Son of Pharaoh Amenhotep

Here on the left is a reconstruction of how King Tut looked like in the early years.

• King Tut was given a throne when he was about 8-9 years old.

• King Tut’s father was named Akhenaten. One of the older past kings. Its not fissure it’s still a mystery.

• The mother of King Tut is thought to be Kiya, but it’s a mystery to be solved

• At his younger age he spent his younger years doing like every child was doing,hunting,swimming, and studying.

• He held up his role, by being like his father, and copied his fathers religion to believe in only one god.

• He brought back gods that were forbidden by Akhenaten .

• He died when he was at the age of 18, ruling as a king for nine years.

• There's a couple of theories of his death, and one of them was that he died because of an infected tooth.

• The other theory was that he was murdered.

• Inside The tomb was four chamgers. ( The Annex, Antechamber, burial chamber, and kings coffin.)

• King Tut’s tomb was a royal tomb. It was found in the valley of the kings, final resting place.

• The tombs were filled with many objects, but the most important treasure to him was the Goldem Mask.

• His tomb was found in Valley of the Kings, 1922 and placed him as one of the Egyptian rulers.

• His tomb was found by a man name Howard Carter.

• It was filled with tons of artefacts, and the golden death mask. Which is now a famous relic of the ancient world.

• His tomb was still in perfect condiction but his stuff was all robbed. They were all replaced right away.

• In the year 1922, Howard Carter discovered King Tut’s tomb. With all his treasures, and other stuff. Ever since that day other archaeologists went to see his tomb. Strage things happened when they all went there. In the 1920’s more then two dozen men have died, once they entered the tomb of king tut.

• Later in 1986, the french found out why all those people died whoever went in the tomb. The reason why they died was because, since there was fruit and vegetables in there. They probably had growned fungus,mold and other bacterias.
