Kinesis is now in its 14th year and since the beginning we have tried to be the best in the

industry at what we do and today we are now the largest independent distributor in the UK.

Over the next year you will see even more investment in Kinesis in line with our strategy of

continual improvement of product range and customer service.

This brochure officially launches our new corporate identity and website that we are

extremely proud of.

A warm welcome to Kinesis

Kinesis was born in 1998 and our humble beginnings were from selling instrument spares to a few customers we had got to know through our experienced careers. Before long we gained a reputation for selling quality consumables to this customer base and soon we were able to introduce more product lines. As Kinesis grew we successfully secured larger agencies and have since seen significant sales growth and we now deal with some of the worlds leading manufacturers on a global basis.

Following our success in selling the instrument spares our customers encouraged us to enter the instrument service market and this segment of our business has now become an important part of our companies portfolio supporting many of the industry’s leading companies both large and small. Reaching further afieldIn September 2006 to address the North American market we set up a US subsidiary, Kinesis Inc which has and continues to be very successful selling and promoting the Kinesis portfolio of products.

Kinesis Australia Pty Ltd was established in October 2006 to service the Pacific Rim and South East Asia markets as well as the domestic customer base.

In January 2008 Kinesis established a presence in continental Europe through its acquisition of Abimed GmbH, a leading liquid handling and chromatography company that had been serving the German market for over 30 years.

Now Kinesis could offer distribution points across the globe.

The Kinesis Group of companies has a portfolio of unrivalled service and support as well as

the widest range of chromatography and liquid handling consumables available.

Kinesis has excellent relationships with both its supply partners and customers and we continue to add new products on a regular basis to keep up with the advances in the analytical world, these products not only enhance our product portfolio but also widens the markets we can address.

Pipettes are one of the laboratory instruments where poor performance affects results. Periodic preventative maintenance and performance checks can ensure performance failures are kept to a minimum. Kinesis offers comprehensive service and support for all single and multichannel pipettes both manual and electronic.

Kinesis Pipetting Solutions is a UKAS accredited pipette calibration and repair service....with a difference! We have brought together over 25 years’ experience in 3rd party instrument service, and, combined with industry acknowledged liquid handling professionals, formed an experienced team that understands today’s liquid handling

challenges. It is the goal of this team of in-house and field based engineers to ensure Kinesis meets the needs of each and every customer.

The complete package from Kinesis allows pipettes to be serviced either at the customer site, or at our dedicated Pipette Servicing Facility. General calibration ensures each pipette is functioning and delivers accurate and precise volumes according to manufacturer’s specifications. For UKAS accredited laboratories, Kinesis offers comprehensive cover under our full UKAS accreditation.

“Same company, new look”In the summer of 2012 in line with many other developments within our company, Kinesis decided to refresh its corporate image with a new logo and fresh look. We wanted to create an image that reflected where the Company is going today as well as in the future.

Kinesis has developed strong relations with suppliers and customers over the years and there is an association with the current branding that we were mindful not to lose, so we needed to be careful and consider our choice of style, colours and strap line.
