    ul August weather. In this issue we have a story o survival and toughness. Just to be clear we arenot trying to scare or even educate people about bears. Tere is plenty o that inormation availablrom other sources. We would like to ocus on the story o the people involved and celebrate the athat they are still around to tell their awesome stories. As someone who works in the bush everydaI take solace in the act that Ive met three people in Kimberley that have survived a grizzly attack.We would like to remind people however, to be cautious as berry picking season is now upon us. Je managed to get under a allen log beore exchaning blows with the bear. Te bear walked away with gougeyes and caulk boot marks on its ace towards Tea who wready with her can o bearspray.     However Je had severe lacerations on right his leg and bbarks on his arms which made getting out o the bush extremly difcult. Tea ran back to their vehicle and let Je with thal used can o bearspray. Tea ound help and they were abto get Je out o the bush and back to the road. Ater that texact chain o events are somewhat conusing, however the important thing is that eventually a helicopter arrived to take Jto a hospital.Je has since moved to Victoria where he is a carpenter a
