Chemical Nature Mixture of sequestering agent and surfactants.

Physical form Colorless to slightly yellowish.

Shelf Life Kieralon® Wash TX 1586 can be kept in the original sealed containers at temperatures between 5°C and 45°C for at least 12 months. Once containers have been opened, the contents should be used up quickly. Containers should be closed tightly after use.

Properties

Viscosity Approximately 20 sec flow time (20 °C)

Density Approximately 1.01 g/cm3 at 20°C.

Solubility Soluble in cold water.

Action Removes oily and greasy impurities and solubilizes soil particles. Results in a good absorbency

Application Kieralon® Wash TX 1586 is a multifunctional low foaming wetting agent and detergent. Kieralon® Wash TX 1586 is a versatile product and can be used in both exhaust and continuous processes.

Recipes

Notes on formulating liquors:

Kieralon® Wash TX 1586 should be stirred when adding into the liquor.

Guideline recipe for Exhaust Process (Discontinuous Process ) Caustic Soda 48 oBe 2 - 4 g/l Kieralon® Wash TX 1586 0.5 - 1 g/l Hydrogen Peroxide 50% 2 - 5 g/l

Lufibrol® FF-SAB 0.5 - 1 g/l

Prestogen® F-PL 0.3 - 1 g/l

Bleaching for cotton

L:R : 1:10 Temperature: 95-110 °C Time: 30-45 min


Guideline recipe for Continuous Process

Desizing Luzyme® HP 0.5 - 2 g/l Kieralon® Wash TX 1586 1 - 4 g/l

Lufibrol® FF-SAB 0.5 - 1 g/l

pH of the bath: 6 - 7 Temperature: 60 -70 oC Dwell Time 6 - 8 hours

Scouring Caustic Soda 48 oBe 25 - 45 ml/kg Kieralon® Wash TX 1586 2 - 4 ml/kg

Impregnation temperature: Room temperature Liquor pick-up: approx. 100% for Cotton approx. 70 - 80% for PES/Co Steaming temperature: approx. 100 °C Steaming time: 15 - 30 min

Bleaching Hydrogen Peroxide 50% 15 - 30 ml/kg NaOH 100% 10 - 25 ml/kg Prestogen® F-PL 5 - 9 ml/kg Kieralon® Wash TX 1586
