Meet Auroras Family!

Little Aurora was born with bacteria in her blood and had to have a spinal tap to see if it had reached her brain. During the week of her hospital stay, she was given IV antibiotics.

They would like others to remember “that this place is a wonderful asset to our community, and volunteering and donating to RMH is a great opportunity. You never know when you will need the support they provide.”

In March of 2010 Christopher was riding his ATV when he collided head-on with a telephone pole. He was life-flighted from the scene to Sacred Heart Hospital, where he wound up in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit for an extended stay. When his family first called, it was a very emotional time as he had crushed nearly every bone in his face and had to undergo extensive reconstructive surgery. Unfortunately, we had a full House and a waiting list at the time. There were several tense moments as Christopher's Mom waited for a room to become available. Once we were able to check them in, Christopher's family settled into the routine and were able to focus their attention on Christopher's needs instead of where to stay. As you can see, Christopher has made a full recovery much to his Mom's relief.
