HOUSE PRIZE WINNERS – SAPPHIRES

On Wednesday 13th December the children had a great time at Hollywood

Bowl. They enjoyed unlimited bowling and represented Keyworth Primary

School well.

Winter Festival

Your child will need a hat, scarf and gloves for the Winter Festival next

week. Please ensure your child brings this into school for Monday 18th

December.

Reception Online application 2018

If your child was born between 1 September 2013 and 31 August 2014, your child is due to start primary school in September 2018. You must start applying from September 2017 and submit your application before the closing date on 15th January 2018.

The Waterloo Foodbank would like to give a Christmas food package to

families in need this holiday season. Christmas is a challenging time for

many and they would like to lend a hand to those in need. If you feel that

your family would benefit from a Christmas food package please contact

Kristin Hoogland, Assistant Head for Inclusion to find out more.

Nursery – Last Day 19th December 2017

If your child attends nursery, last day of autumn term will be 19th

December 2017.

LPESSN Champions League

Keyworth students have been entering competitions, taking part in multi-skill days, ice-skating and orienteering this term which has culminated in Keyworth coming first in our catchment area for sports participation with our PE network!

This is a great achievement and is supporting our children to become more active and enjoy sport.

Our teachers have also attended various training insets and taken part in on-going team teaching with external coaches to ensure the standard of our PE lessons are continually developing.

Well done to all children and staff! Let's keep it up!

Early Years Nativity

Many thanks to all the parents who came to see their children perform in

the Early Years’ Christmas Nativity.

Your support for all activities we hold in school is always appreciated, but

it was especially great to see so many of you on Thursday and Friday.

The Reception and Nursery children had worked hard to learn the songs

and practise their speaking parts.

I’m sure Early Years parents will agree that the children did a fabulous

job at telling the Christmas story.
