HOUSING

Keystone Employee Housing ALL UNITS ARE PET (WITH THE EXCEPTION OF SERVICE ANIMALS APPROVED BY KEYSTONE EMPLOYEE HOUSING) AND SMOKING FREE

Employee housing may be available to full-time employees depending on availability. Bed space is limited and reservations at time of hire are required. To reserve a bed, you must be approved by your hiring manager (prior to your arrival), complete the appropriate forms, and pay a deposit.

Rent* per month varies by building and season. *ONLY debit/credit card, check, or money order accepted

There are scheduled room inspections in all units; you will be informed of the regular inspection schedule for your building at check-in. If you have questions about what the inspection standards are, contact the housing office. Repeated violations may result in eviction and termination of employment. VAIL RESORTS HAS A ZERO TOLERANCEDRUG USE POLICY THAT ALSO APPLIES TO EMPLOYEE HOUSING. For more information about housing, please contact your Manager.

Employees’ behaviors and conduct while occupying employee housing directly affect their job status and their

eligibility to live in employee housing. Infractions of housing policies may lead to eviction and termination of

employment. Loss of employment equals loss of housing.

Most housing options come furnished and with basic kitchen appliances. However you will need to provide: • Dishes (plates, bowls, cups, glasses) • Utensils (spoons, forks, knives, can opener, and larger utensils) • Pots and pans, general kitchen supplies • Bedding • Towels • Paper products (toilet paper, paper towels, napkins) • Cleaning supplies

Housing in the Community There are many options in the surrounding communities for housing. Generally, a single-occupancy room with access to a bathroom will cost about $800-$1000 per month (if not more). For a list of available rentals visit: www.summitdaily.com or http://rockies.craigslist.org/ (High Rockies)

Please note, it can be difficult to find local housing which allows pets. Plan to spend extra time looking for housing, and extra money on deposits or rent if you are bringing your dog or cat.
