QUESTIONING HUMAN RESOURCES

What HUMAN RESOURCES issues do you see in your company? Internal? External?

What IS a human resource? What are HR’s departments usual OBJECTIVES? Do you agree with that role? Why? Why not? Have you had a good/bad/indifferent relationship with HR in your company?

Can you give examples of the MULTIPLE INTELLIGENCES? Self? Natural? Musical? Which are crucial to BUSINESS? How do you learn/develop them? Can you? How’s your CV?

Do you agree with PSYCHOMETRIC tests? Do they actually get the best CANDIDATES? What are the best ways of HIRING? Do you agree with MINTZBERG’S quote?

How do you MARKET for the different intelligences? Can you think of an AD CAMPAIGN that deals with some? Would this increase SALES? Any examples? (Apple, Natura, Canon ..)

What OTHER forms of human resources can you think of? What makes an EXCELLENT/INNOVATIVE/TRANSFORMATIVE/RESOURCEFUL candidate for your company?

BUT MOST IMPORTANT: What are YOUR human resources?

Do schools kill creativity?

“The Universities design the system in their own image ... and the consequence is that many highly-talented, brilliant, creative people, think they

are not” Sir Ken Robinson
