The Loop

Known as one of the most iconic parts of the city, THE LOOP is defined as the area inside the

elevated “L” trains. It is an entertaining section of Chicago filled with retail stores, restaurants,

and festivals. One of the many tourist attractions is Millennium Park, notorious for its sculpture,

“The Bean.” Broadway in Chicago offers terrific seats to the most exciting shows in Chicago’s

Downtown Theater District. The Chicago Theatre, another performing arts venue, holds a

variety of events including standup comedy, jazz, and rock concerts. Some of the best shopping

in the Loop is located on State Street. Block Thirty Seven, Shops on State features contempo-

rary fashion and cafes. See the sparkling Jewelers Row, located on Wabash Ave. between

Washington and Monroe, spanning two blocks with jewelers from all over the world. Hungry

yet? Visit one of Chicago’s oldest Italian restaurants. With three eateries in one historic building,

the Italian Village includes The Village, La Cantina Chophouse, and Vivere.
