Course DescriptionOur Chief Warden Training course is designed to cover both practical and theoretical training for persons who are required to fill the role of Chief Warden within their workplace. After obtaining the certificate, people may act as a primary liason with emergency services after they arrive. This course complies with Australian Standard 3745 -2010 and other Chief Fire Warden Legislative and Regulatory requirements.
This unit applies to employees of all industries. This unit contains employability skills.
Course OverviewThe following information, guidelines and procedures will be covered: Prepare for workplace emergencies Prepare personnel for evacuation and the safe
evacuation of a facility Apply command, control and coordinate aspects of
workplace emergency procedures Control the response to emergency reports, signals and
warnings Coordinate reports and results of initial emergency
response Briefing other wardens and the emergency services Conclude incident
