In addition to alternate cutting heads and choice of seven flail types, the range ofoptions available for the Kestrel S 5.7 include the availability of a low pressureproportional hydraulic control system, complete with oil cooler.

A larger 150mm diameter roller is also available as is the option of the newhydraulic roller which allows the cutting height to be altered when verge mowing,or for the roller to be moved out of the way for hedge cutting.

The new Kestrel S 5.7 features a non-parallel linkage and is cable controlled. It is fitted as standardwith a heavy duty 1.2m wide Pro-Trim flail head with 115mm diameter roller, which incorporates adouble-helix shaft giving a 45% overlap between flails, ensuring a clean and neat finish. For heaviergrowth, the Kestrel S 5.7 can also be fitted with the new Pro-Saw cutting head.

The new Kestrel S 5.7 also features power slew/hydraulic break-out system and is fitted tothe tractor using a tubular 3-point linkage system with stabilisers. The specification also includes a160 litre capacity hydraulic oil tank and hydraulic power comes from twin-gear pumps with a flowrate of 84 litres/min. Road lights are fitted as standard and hydraulic oil is included.
