Site Requirements for all Participants• Hard Hat

• Safety Glasses (For those who wear prescription glasses, safety prescription glasses or safety over

glasses must be brought to site)

• Hearing Protection

• Gloves

• Steel Cap Boots

• Reflective Taped Long Trousers and reflective taped Long Sleeve Hi-Vis Shirt

• Personal Red lock (office based staff are exempt)

• Pen

• Headphones (if you would prefer to use your own, otherwise a set will be provided)

Additional PPE requirements for Underground Inductees

• Underground Belt

• Underground Boots

• Dust Mask

Kestrel Mine has a Clean Shaven Policy for all Underground Personnel

Must be signed and have chest x-ray & underground assessment noted on Section 4

Note: Mine site to be listed as Kestrel or Various.

Please note: Those who have selected ‘Re-induction’ on their Contractor Induction Request Form

must be currently inducted at Kestrel Mine and only need to supply their current Underground Coal

Board Medical with their Contract Induction Request Form for booking (unless any other induction

pre-requisite documents have expired).

The Surface Induction is completed as an external online course along with practical examples. The

Underground Induction is completed as a combination of external online modules as well as on site

modules along with practical examples.

Induction Booking Process

• Access Kestrel Induction portal via kestrel.mynesight.com.au to register for the Kestrel Mine Online Induction (including accessing Contractor Induction Request Form, submitting pre-requisite documents and purchasing induction vouchers)

•Submission for Kestrel Online Induction via kestrel.mynesight.com.au

•Paperwork will then be automatically reviewed. Please Note: Coal Board Medicals are each individually reviewed by the Kestrel Health Advisor and may require a Medical Management Plan.

•Upon approval an email will be sent with details to access and complete the Kestrel Online Induction

• Inductee to send Certificate of Completion/s to kestrel@mynesight.com.au

• Kestrel Surface Inductees will only need to submit the Kestrel Surface Induction Certificate of Completion

• Kestrel Underground Inductees will need to submit the Kestrel Surface Induction, Kestrel Underground Induction and Kestrel Underground Standard Operating Procedures Certificate of Completions

• Inductee and Vendor will receive a confirmation email for the date of ‘Site Verification’.

• Mynesight to send Induction Attendance List and inductees pre-requisite documents, including signed Induction request form, CBM, Standard 11, Drivers License and JPEG Image to RTCA Kestrel Training

• Kestrel Training Department Creates SAP ID & Gallagher profile for inductee

• Kestrel Training Department Provides induction list for Trainer & generates Site Access Cards

• Inductee attends scheduled Site Preparation Session & Surface familiarisation (bookings through Mynesightmandatory)

• Inductee attends scheduled Underground Site remaining Theory & Familiarisation (bookings through Mynesightmandatory)
