The use of the full Kern 996 functionali-ty requires a mandatory upgrade to the standard version.

The cutting system Kern 996basic can be combined with the series K2500, K2600, K3500/K3500SL, K3600, K3800, K4300/4700, K5000 as well as a roll unwinder or stack connector. Connection to K1600 and K1600 contin-uous feed only with system channel.

The basic version meets all the require-ments of a high-performance continu-ous form cutter in a simpler version. Simple operation and high reliability are central elements of the device. The cutter is combinable with all known Kern systems, handles a large variety of applications and is rapidly ready for operation.

The ergonomic design and the touch screen interface allow quick access to the system.

■ This version is limited to a maximum processing capacity of 48,000 docu-ments/hour (12“, 2-up). With the appropriate software license an extension to normal performance (additional costs) is possible.

■ The options Duplex Matching, White Paper Processing, grouping and diverting station are not possible with the Kern 996 basic version. An imple-mentation of this functionality manda-torily requires an upgrade to standard version Kern 996.
