Kermit got sick

There once was a man named Kermit. Some say he was a bit of a hermit. But no one ever

frowned when Kermit came to town, in fact they always smiled when he was around!

One day Kermit got really sick. His colon was making him feel ick. He went to the doctor, and

was in for a shocker, when he found out his colon was more beat up than a boxer!

It turned out his colon had cancer and it was a real health disaster. He felt weakness and fatigue

so he would shake at the knee, and when he went to the bathroom he would sometimes

bleed.

The doctor told Kermit he had many options, one was to pump his body with toxins. It is

called chemotherapy and while it may seem very scary not getting treatment would be even

more hairy!

If Kermit was in a bit of a hurry, he could opt to try colon surgery. The would remove the polpys, provided they weren’t bigger than dollops, and that would give the cancer quite the wallop!

The doctor said he would be remiss if he didn’t talk about the potential risks of the treatments he said would make his colon feel some bliss!

First the doctor talked about the risks of surgery and how they might come up with quite an

urgency. There might be some pain that might cause him to complain, but soon he would be

right as rain!

Next was problems with chemotherapy, which can sometimes be very scary! There may be

some pain and some troubles with the brain, but these aren’t as bad as letting the cancer remain.

So despite all the risks Kermit persists that the doctor try the treatments. Sadly they both didn’t work, because the cancer stayed like a jerk. But there was still some hope and there was a new

drug that was dope!

This new drug just started trial, but already was working hard to remove the bile. It blocked a

protein that allowed the cancer to spread like a machine!

Soon after taking the drug, the cancer fell like a lug. Kermit was saved, and stories were made

about the disease that Kermit had braved!
