The following list contains the names of candidatesfound suitable on the basis of the result of the ObjectiveType (OMR) Test held on 3-3-2007, the verification oforiginal documents and cycling test of candidates includedin the Short List published on 7-2-2008 for selection to thepost of Villageman on Rs. 2650-4150 (Pre-Revision) in theRevenue Department in Pathanamthitta District arranged inthe order of merit. The Ranked List is brought into forcewith effect from 19-5-2008. The Ranked List will be inforce till the publication of a new Ranked list after theexpiry of a minimum period of one year or till the expiry ofthree years whichever is earlier. Candidates from this listwill be advised for appointment in accordance with therules and orders regarding reservation and rotation asamended from time to time, if applicable against vacanciesreported to the Commission during the pendency of thislist. The following list contains the names of candidatesfound suitable on the basis of the result of the ObjectiveType test (OMR Valuation) held on 10-3-2007 andverification of the documents that followed for selectionto the post of Villageman in the Revenue Department(Category No. 230/2005) arranged in the order of merit.The Ranked List is brought into force with effect from19-5-2008. The Ranked List will be in force till thepublication of a new Ranked List after the expiry of aminimum period of one year or till the expiry of threeyears whichever is earlier. Candidate will be advised forappointment in accordance with the rules and ordersregarding reservation and rotation as amended from time

to time, if applicable, against vacancies reported to theCommission during the pendency of the list. As theadvice for appointment depends on the occurence ofvacancies, there is no guarantee that all candidatesincluded in the list will secure appointment. Thecandidates remaining in the list at the time of cancellationwill have no claim at all for appointment on the basis ofthe inclusion of their names in the list.

According to the existing procedure, re-valuation ofanswer scripts is not allowed. But answer scripts will bere-checked only after the publication of Ranked List, ifprescribed fee of Rs. 50 (Rupees fifty only) is remitted inany one of the Treasuries in the State by chalan underthe head of Account “0051 PSC–105 State PSC–’99–Examination Fee”. Application for re-checking of theanswer scripts should be submitted in the prescribed form

available free of cost from the enquiry sections of thevarious offices of the Commission or downloaded andprinted in A4 size paper from the Commission’s websitewww.keralapsc.org or photocopied there from. Theoriginal chalan receipt for the prescribed fee should beproduced with the application for re-checking.

Valid applications for re-checking addressed to theDistrict Officer, K. P. S. C. District Office, Alappuzha-688 001 should reach this office within 30 days from thedate on which this notification of Ranked List is officiallyreleased by the Commission. Application for re-checkingreceived after the prescribed time limit or not in theprescribed form will not be entertained.

The fee once remitted will not be refunded.

In the case of candidates who send applications forre-checking in the prescribed form within the prescribedtime limit enclosing original chalan receipt as stated abovethe marks awarded will be re-checked and the result of there-checking will be intimated to the candidates from thisoffice.

Entries put in Column 4 are based on theCommunities specified by the candidates in theirapplication forms and proved by them with necessarydocuments. The candidates whose Communities have notbeen correctly noted in the list as proved by them in theirapplication should intimate the fact to the District Officer,KPSC District Office, Alappuzha within one month fromthe date of publication of this list to get the benefit ofreservation to which they are entitled to. In the absenceof timely information regarding discrepancies, if any, thecandidates will be advised as incorporated in the list.

The candidates belonging to Other Backward Classesincluded in the Short List who are required to produceNon Creamy Layer Certificates as per G.O.(P) No. 46/2007/SC/ST/DD dated 25-8-2007 shall produce the same alongwith the other documents mentioned above or as andwhen called for. Such candidates in the main list who failto produce the required Non Creamy Layer Certificate willnot be entitled to the benefit of Community reservationand will be considered as Open Competition candidates.As regards such candidates in the Supplementary List ofOther Backward Classes, their Register Numbers will bedeleted from the Short List without further notice, if theyfails to produce the Non Creamy Layer Certificate.

The place, date and time of interview will beintimated in due course.

According to the existing procedure, revaluation ofanswer scripts is not allowed. But answer scripts willbe rechecked only after the publication of Ranked List ifthe prescribed fee of Rs. 50 (Rupees Fifty only) isremitted in any one of the treasuries in the State by chalanunder the Head of Account ‘0051–PSC-105 State PSC– 99Examination Fee’. Applications for rechecking of answerscript should be submitted within one month from thedate of publication of the Ranked List in the prescribedform available free of cost from the Enquiry Sections ofthe various offices of the Commission or its photocopy ordownload and printed in A4 size paper from theCommission’s Website www.keralapsc.org or photocopiedthere from. The original chalan receipt for the prescribedfee should be produced with the application forrechecking. Applications for rechecking received fromcandidates whose answer scripts have been invalidatedwill not be considered. Candidates whose registernumbers are included or not included in the Short Listand Ranked List can apply for rechecking of their answerscripts, within one month from the date of publication ofthe Ranked List.

Valid applications for rechecking addressed to theDistrict Officer, K. P. S. C. District Office, Alappuzhashould reach this office within 30 days from the date onwhich this Ranked List is officially released by the KeralaPublic Service Commission. Applications for recheckingreceived after the prescribed time limit or not in theprescribed form will not be entertained.

The fee once remitted will not be refunded.

In the case of candidates who send applications forrechecking in the prescribed form within the prescribedtime limit enclosing original chalan receipt as stated above,the marks awarded will be rechecked and the result of therechecking will be intimated to the candidates from thisoffice.

The candidates belonging to Other Backward Classesincluded in the Short List, who are required to produceNon Creamy Layer Certificate as per G.O.(P) No. 46/2007/SC/ST/DD dated 25-8-2007 shall produce the same at thetime of interview. Those in the Main List who fail toproduce the required Non Creamy Layer Certificate will notbe entitled to the benefit of Community reservation andwill be considered as Open Competition candidates. TheRegister Number of candidates who liable to produce NonCreamy Layer Certificates and included in theSupplementary Lists of Backward Classes and who fail toproduce the Non Creamy Layer Certificate their RegisterNumbers shall be deleted from the Short List withoutfurther notice.
