The inspiration shaping the new designs comes from the 2 most fascinating cities, NYC and Paris. The prints in their entirety drawn by hand are joined by the discreetly placed tidal theme.
A less normal catwalk setup, (a circustraining school on the outskirts of Paris) we believed we'd bring you the Kenzo Spring Summer 2014 show in movement. The group aimed to have as much atmosphere to your legs as possible with ordered broad leg shorts and loose fit pants in sidewalk and ankle sweeping lengths. Abstract line prints were especially fine across outsize jackets and handwritten messages on tees had a Basquiat feel.
The lure of the Pacific Ocean may be the idea of the KENZO Spring / Summer 2014 Menswear collection. Comfortable and easy pieces in dusty blue, dark blue, black, and white resonated the lifestyle of the Southern California coast - a *location that Creative Directors, Humberto Leon and Carol Lim, both refer to as dwelling. The group is nicely focused and clean; the prints are well-balanced with the graphical forms in a way and the tailoring is suitably loose for practically any frolic affair.
