EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
Kenlloyd Logistics Limited is a private limited liability company incorporated under the Company
Act Cap 110 of the Laws of Uganda. The company was incorporated in 2nd May 1997 in Uganda and
24th September 2004 in Kenya. On inception the business of the company was clearing and forwarding
having customs agency license from the Uganda Revenue Authority & Kenya Revenue Authority. The
company has now diversified into Petroleum Marketing, Public Transport and Commodity Trading.
Logistics has continued to be integral in all company business. The company has also grown by strategic
partnerships and acquisition into other business lines; Transportation and Construction. The company
has business activities within East Africa.
Petroleum Marketing & Distribution: the company has continued to gain a foothold in the
downstream petroleum business in East & Central Africa (Great Lakes Region). The company has a
Petroleum Trading license in Uganda and Kenya, and pursuing one in Tanzania. The petroleum
products marketed and distributed include; Petrol, Diesel, Kerosene, Bitumen, Heavy Fuel Oil,
Petroleum Jelly & Other Petrochemicals. Kenlloyd Logistics through its subsidiary AOSL is the leading
supplier of heavy fuel oil for power generation.
Logistics Service Provider: this is core business of the company. The company has presence in the
following locations; Mombasa, Nairobi, Busia, Malaba, Kampala and Entebbe. The company has
customs agency license for Kenya (KRA) and Uganda (URA). The company manages transportation
services (freight cargo trucking) with a fleet of long distance haulage. The company has strategic
partnership with DB Schenker AG (www.dbschenker.com) a leading global logistics company.
